Optical fiber connector detailed description: 

① FC optical fiber connector: external strengthening way is to use metal sleeve, fastening is turnbuckles. Generally use in ODF side (distribution frame use many )

 ② SC fiber optic connector: main connector of connect GBIC optical modules, its shell rectangular. ( router and switch use many) 

③ ST fiber optic connectors: commonly used in ODF, rounded shell, fastening is the turnbuckle. (For 10Base-F connector, the connector is usually ST type, commonly used in optical fiber distribution frame)

 ④ LC optical fiber connector: Connector of connecting SFP module (Routers commonly used) 

⑤ MT-RJ: square transceiver fiber optic connectors

SX is a short distance optical modules, generally suitable for multi-mode fiber, transmission distance <10 km, lX generally suitable for single-mode fiber, transmission distance <25 km,LH generally refers to long distance optical module, transmission distance is 25 ~70 km

Fiber optic modules: general are hot-swappable,

 GBIC Giga Bitrate Interface Converter, used fiber optic interface usually is SC or ST type 

Small package SFP GBIC, used fiber is LC-type 

Optical fiber used: single mode wavelength 1310nm,1550nm 

Multimode: Wavelength 850nm 1310nm
